Suction
It has to be done. It’s that simple. It has gripped me, body and soul.
It won’t let me go anymore.
Spins me around like a doll.
Strikes me mercilessly against everything that stands in my way.
It doesn’t care if I get hurt.
It slams me to the ground, only to gently lift me up and wrap me up again the next moment.
It is pain and pleasure – it is drug. It is obsession and it is torture.
But I scream, someone wants to take it away from me. No one has the right to do that. Anger in the eyes.
I already know what I can expect from myself.
Do not lecture me.
That’s how it is.
Never wanting to let go again.
Because it is: the absolute feeling of happiness, total forgetting, sinking into another dimension, escape, intoxication, ecstasy, the most important thing.
Its satisfaction is the purpose of life. Nothing is allowed to interfere with it, or it will be unscrupulously pushed aside and overrun.
There is no obstacle except within myself.

This poem captures the unrelenting force that drives my artistic practice. A force that has never loosened its grip. It is this creative obsession that propels me through decades of exploration, compelling me to work with whatever materials call to me: paper, canvas, fabric, aluminum, brass mesh. My love for paper and books remains constant, but I cannot be confined. I am never bored – there is too much to discover, too much to transform.
At the heart of my practice is a simple equation: Creating = Collecting + Connecting. I gather fragments of time, experience, and material, then weave them into new relationships and meanings. This process reflects my dual nature as both creative and logical being, driven by an insatiable curiosity to research and master each technique, each concept, each material I encounter.
My fascination with time and cosmology infuses everything I make, as I explore the vast patterns that organize our universe and our brief existence within it.
Art, for me, holds deeply spiritual meaning. It is a way of honoring the mystery of existence, of marking our presence, of connecting with something larger than ourselves.
We are all creative frequencies making a short visit on Earth. Let’s make the best out of it.
