ABOUT STEFANI PETER

Stefani Peter (b. 1955, Eisenach, East Germany) is a German-Canadian multidisciplinary artist whose four-decade practice spans abstract painting, mixed media, printmaking, and artist books. Based in Burnaby, British Columbia, her work investigates the relationship between memory and materiality, using both canvas and the book format as sites for exploring time, movement, and belonging.
